There are better ways to go about paying for college than just paying out of pocket or using only loans. Paying for college may seem expensive and difficult, but there are many different ways to help pay for your education.
These include completing the Free Application For Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which is required for Federal Pell Grants, scholarships and more.
Financial aid can be used for career technical certificates and programs (degrees) too. Northwest Ohio has some great community colleges. Plus, you can receive an associate degree if you do this work and have it paid for at a community college.
Most financial aid has no age limit!
Money for college can come from multiple sources
- Federal grants (Pell Grant)
- State grants (Ohio College Opportunity Grant)
- Scholarships from colleges or other organizations
- Work study
- Savings
- Military Aid
- Loans
None of the above needs to be paid back.
